Cohorts: June (yearly) | Function: Multiple, apply once and tell us where you want to build

About us

Tamara is Saudi Arabia's first FinTech unicorn, on a mission to help people own their dreams by building the most customer-centric financial super app in the world. There's no playbook for that; our Tamarians are writing it as we go, and we believe potential should be stretched early.

The Flagship Builders Program is our gateway for brilliant minds ready to kick-start their careers. Whether you're a recent graduate or early in your career with up to two years of experience, this is where you'll do real meaningful work, alongside some of the most ambitious people in the region.

This year, we’re keeping things simple: one application gets you into the running for any area you’re interested in. Just share a bit about yourself, highlight what you’re great at, and tell us which teams get you excited. We want you to work on what you’re passionate about, so we’ll look at your interests to match you with a role where you can jump in and start building.

Where You Could Build

Product: Get hands-on with how a fintech unicorn builds products people actually love. You'll support Product Managers in shaping features used by millions of shoppers, drawing on data and customer insight to explore areas for improvement, conceptualise new products, and dive into a wide range of financial services, from personal banking to brand new fintech solutions.

Engineering: Write code that ships. As part of our engineering team, you'll work alongside senior engineers on live projects, from feature builds to system improvements, gaining mentorship and real production experience from day one.

Design: Help design the experiences behind a product millions of people trust with their money. You'll contribute to real flows and interfaces, working closely with Product and Engineering to build seamless fintech solutions. You will dive directly into uncovering user needs, mapping out core user journeys, and rapidly iterating through wireframes.

Data: Get hands-on with the numbers behind millions of transactions. You'll support analytics and reporting that help teams understand customers, measure impact, and make better decisions.

Commercial: Our Commercial teams cover two sides of the same goal: Sales, where you'll help find, pitch, and sign new merchant partners, and  Account Management, where you'll help look after existing partners and grow those relationships over time.

Marketing: Get hands-on with how a fintech unicorn tells its story. You'll support brand, growth, and campaign work that reaches customers and merchants across the region.

Finance & Accounting: Get inside the financial engine of a unicorn. You'll support month-end close, financial reporting, and audits, learning what it takes to keep a fast-scaling company's numbers accurate and controlled.

Strategy: Work close to the top. You'll contribute to market research, competitor benchmarking, and strategic projects that inform decisions made by Tamara's executive team: real exposure to strategic thinking at the highest level.

Note: The functions listed above aren't an exhaustive list. If you're interested in an area we haven't mentioned here, tell us on your application; we still want to hear from you.
