We're looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic operations team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of designing, implementing, and optimizing electrical systems that power our industrial operations. You'll lead a talented team of electrical professionals, collaborate across departments, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Design, develop, and implement comprehensive electrical systems and infrastructure, including power distribution networks, backup power systems, and advanced control systems tailored to operational requirements
Conduct thorough analysis of electrical system performance and execute root cause analysis on equipment failures, providing efficient and innovative solutions to minimize operational downtime
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Arabian electrical codes, international standards, and local regulations
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs for electrical equipment, collaborating with maintenance teams to optimize system reliability and performance
Lead, mentor, and support a team of electrical technicians and junior engineers, providing constructive technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities
Develop and maintain detailed electrical documentation, including single-line diagrams, control schematics, standard operating procedures, and technical specifications
Conduct comprehensive electrical safety audits and implement robust safety protocols to ensure a secure and compliant working environment for all personnel
Partner with project managers and key stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver capital improvement projects on schedule and within budget constraints
Monitor and optimize energy consumption across operations, identifying and implementing efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities
Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements, and innovations in electrical systems and industrial automation
Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian electrical standards and international codes, maintaining transparent communication with regulatory bodies and compliance teams
Minimum 7 years of professional experience as an electrical engineer.
Proven expertise in electrical systems design, power distribution networks, and industrial control systems
Strong proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent simulation and modeling tools
Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, PLC programming, and industrial automation technologies
Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and successful execution of electrical projects
Leadership experience managing and mentoring technical teams, with a track record of developing junior staff
In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards, international electrical codes (IEC), and Saudi Arabian electrical regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous, detail-oriented approach to technical work
Strong organizational abilities and proven capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently and effectively
Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and creating complex electrical drawings and technical specifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification in electrical engineering
Electrical safety certifications such as OSHA or IEC standards (highly desirable)
Familiarity with industrial operations in Middle Eastern environments and knowledge of regional electrical standards (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
Flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing priorities and operational demands
