We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Engineer - Design to join our engineering team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electrical systems and components that meet our organization's technical specifications and industry standards. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative electrical solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components using industry-standard CAD and simulation tools
Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate design concepts and performance parameters
Create detailed schematics, technical drawings, and comprehensive documentation for manufacturing and implementation
Perform circuit simulations and modeling to validate designs and optimize performance before production
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical components
Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective measures to enhance system reliability and efficiency
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines
Review and evaluate vendor specifications and components for compatibility with design requirements
Maintain organized project files and documentation for traceability and future reference
Proficiency in electrical CAD software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, or equivalent design tools
Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, circuit theory, and power distribution systems
Experience with electrical simulation and analysis tools (SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, or similar)
Demonstrated experience in schematic design and PCB layout development
Solid understanding of electrical standards and codes (IEC, IEEE, or regional equivalents)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation
Experience with project management and cross-functional team collaboration
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
Proficiency in technical communication and presentation skills
Preferred: Experience with power systems, renewable energy, or industrial electrical applications
Preferred: Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian or Middle Eastern market and regional requirements
Preferred: Knowledge of advanced simulation tools and modeling techniques
