Senior Specialist - Operational Readiness - 50013218 - DA3

General Summary
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of operational readiness activities for assigned assets and programmes. The role converts readiness requirements into practical plans, trackers and actions, coordinates stakeholders, monitors progress and supports the safe and timely transition from project delivery into operations.
Responsibilities:
1.  Develop and maintain operational readiness plans, checklists, trackers and support documentation for assigned workstreams.
2.  Coordinate readiness activities across operations, projects, facilities, technology, security, safety, commercial and other relevant functions.
3.  Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and decisions, and escalate items that may affect operational activation.
4. Support the review of designs, asset handover requirements, operating concepts, SOPs, staffing, training, OS&E and mobilisation plans.
5. Coordinate permit, license and regulatory readiness requirements with internal teams and relevant external parties.
6.  Prepare clear status reports, dashboards, meeting packs, action logs and management updates.
7.  Validate evidence of readiness and support inspections, testing, commissioning, rehearsals and operational trials.
8.  Maintain document control and ensure readiness records are accurate, complete and traceable.
9.  Facilitate workshops and follow up actions with workstream owners to achieve agreed completion dates.
10. Identify opportunities to improve readiness processes, templates and reporting practices.
11. Support lessons learned, post-opening reviews and the transition of outstanding actions into business-as-usual ownership.
12. Perform other operational readiness duties assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, project management or a related discipline.
Professional Certifications (if required):
Project management, operational readiness, facilities management, HSE or risk management certification is preferred.
Years of Experience:
3-4 years of relevant experience in operational readiness, operations, project delivery, asset activation or a related field.
