Assistant Manager - Operational Readiness - 50013217 - DA3

General Summary:
Coordinate and control operational readiness workstreams for assigned assets and programmes, ensuring that plans, dependencies, evidence and actions are managed to support safe and timely operational activation. The role supports management decision-making and drives day-to-day follow-up across multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and manage integrated operational readiness plans, schedules, trackers and governance routines for assigned scopes.           
2. Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and confirm alignment of milestones, dependencies, responsibilities and acceptance criteria.
3. Monitor readiness performance, analyse gaps and recommend corrective actions to protect activation dates.      
4. Support the development and review of operating models, mobilisation plans, SOPs, staffing, training, OS&E and service requirements.             
5. Coordinate asset handover readiness, commissioning interfaces, inspections, rehearsals, operational trials and close-out activities.
   6.Manage permit, licence and regulatory readiness inputs in coordination with responsible teams and authorities.     
   7.Prepare management reports, dashboards, presentations, action logs and decision papers.    
   8.Facilitate readiness meetings and workshops, record decisions and drive timely closure of actions.
   9.Maintain readiness evidence and ensure records are complete, controlled and available for assurance reviews.   
   10.Support risk and issue management, including escalation of critical blockers and follow-up of mitigation actions.       
   11.Guide specialists and consultants on assigned deliverables and quality expectations.     
   12.Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of readiness standards and templates.      
   Qualifications
   Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, operations management, project management or a related discipline.
   Professional Certifications (if required)
   PMP, PRINCE2, facilities management, operational readiness, HSE or risk management certification is preferred.
   Years of Experience
   4-5 years of relevant experience in operational readiness, mobilisation, project delivery or asset activation workstreams.
